Universities

  • University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (UPRM), in collaboration with GER is working
    to optimize our conversion process.  GER is also supporting two graduate students
    in the Chemistry Department in an effort to develop and characterize a process that
    is more cost effective and less toxic.  Quality testing at UPRM will ensure our
    biodiesel meets the current quality specifications.


Businesses

  • Participating restaurants in Quebradillas, Isabela, Moca and Mayaguez place their
    waste cooking oil in our collection tanks; we pick it up and recycle it into biodiesel
    fuel.
